After posting a video looking for teammates for Hack Seoul (the biggest hackathon in Korea) and sifting through hundreds of applicants, Team Yorigo came together, and it felt like a match made in heaven. We quickly became close friends united by a shared problem: millions of Koreans watch cooking content every day but never actually cook. We saw an opportunity to change that, and to leverage Korea's world-class delivery infrastructure to do it. So we built Yorigo - an AI-powered platform that turns any social video into an actionable recipe, with Coupang-powered grocery integration that delivers perfectly portioned, cost-optimized ingredients in one tap.

After winning Hack Seoul, we used the prize funds to keep building. Over the next two months, we developed the product further and entered serious talks with Coupang about a potential partnership, investment, and acquisition. We incorporated, conversations around equity and roles deepened - and ultimately, the team went our separate ways. But some of my closest friends came out of that experience, and I hope our paths cross again soon.
